The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and proficiency with electronic health records. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8a–5p, with a 40-hour workweek and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and adheres to safety culture.
• May float to other units within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates professional communication, teamwork, and ethical decision-making.
• Continuously pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
