Job Description:
This position may be filled as an MRI Technologist Level 1, 2, or 3, depending on individual experience, certifications, education, and other qualifications.
The MRI Technologist I position is an entrylevel role that, under direct supervision, performs routine MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities, with or without an accommodation, may result in disqualification from the position.
If trained and verified in Cardiac MRI, the following responsibilities apply:
Education: Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT or ARMRIT or Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.
Experience: No prior MRI experience required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.ARRT(RT) or ARMRIT certification required within 12 months of hire.
Education: Associate degree required.
Experience: At least 3 years of MRI experience required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required. ARRT(RT)(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
Education: Associate's Degree required.
Experience: At least 3 years of MRI experience required.
