Banner Health is seeking an Associate Program Director for Ambulatory & Community Medicine in Mesa, AZ to lead outpatient medical education and residency development. Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine required.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing physicians.
• Leadership experience or strong interest in graduate medical education.
• Patient-centered, evidence-based high-quality care.
• Arizona state medical licensure or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve ambulatory/community medicine curriculum.
• Provide dedicated administrative time for curriculum development, resident education and mentorship.
• Lead outpatient clinical practice in a community-based setting with flexible scheduling.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents to develop clinical reasoning and leadership skills.
• Strengthen connections between the residency program and diverse communities.
