UCLA Health's Ambulatory Float Team seeks a Medical Assistant to provide patient care and clinical support across 25+ specialties in the West Los Angeles area.

As a per diem employee, you must be available for two weekdays and one weekend per month, with training and travel to UCLA Health Ambulatory Community Clinics throughout Southern California. The role offers flexibility and exposure to diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Medical assistant diploma/certificate from an accredited program.
• Active CPR/BLS certification from recognized authority.
• Ability to take vital signs, venipunctures, injections, and medication administration.
• Knowledge of exam instruments, lab values, and clinical supplies.
• Proficient with computerized patient care systems and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and clinical support across multiple ambulatory clinics.
• Support clinic operations and adapt to staffing needs across practices.
• Travel to UCLA Health ambulatory community clinics as required.
