Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Ambulatory Float Team, supporting 25+ specialties including Primary Care and Pediatrics. You will provide patient care and clinical support across multiple ambulatory clinics within UCLA Health's network.

You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to clinic operations, and gain diverse experience across practices. The role offers comprehensive benefits from day one and a mix of locations with travel across Southern California.

Qualifications

• Requires medical assistant diploma or certificate ACCSC/ACCET/CAAHEP/ABHES accredited programs or national certification CMA/NCCT/AMT
• Active CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross is required
• Ability to take vital signs, venipunctures, injections, administer medications, and obtain refills
• Knowledge of instruments and supplies for physical examinations and procedures
• Computerized patient care systems and Windows proficiency
• Flexibility to travel to UCLA Health clinics and work a variable schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and clinical support across multiple ambulatory clinics
• Support clinic operations and care teams in a fast-paced environment
• Travel to UCLA Health Ambulatory Community Clinics throughout Southern California
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
