Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current certification in one of MA certs (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA) or eligible within six months.
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with patient flow, escorts to exam room, takes vital signs, and documents visit reason and allergies.
  • Assists practitioner with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived testing as directed.
  • Prepares and stocks exam rooms, disinfects equipment, maintains inventory, and supports open/close procedures.
  • Interacts with patients and care team to promote patient satisfaction and efficient communication.
  • Performs delegated procedures safely and according to protocol.

Skills

BLS/CPR certification
Strong computer skills

Education

High school diploma or GED
0–2 years experience in a relevant role
Completion of accredited Medical Assistant training program
