Job summary

MemorialCare in Torrance, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for outpatient care. You will collect patient data, assist in the care plan, and provide nursing care within LVN scope in a busy ambulatory setting.

The role requires 1 year of outpatient experience, injections and blood draws, CA LVN licensure, and BLS. Competitive pay ($32.19–$46.68/hr) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus possible additional incentives.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in an outpatient setting or physician’s office.
• Experience giving injections and drawing blood.
• Graduate from an accredited LVN program.
• Current California LVN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost-effective patient care in ambulatory settings following nursing process.
• Collect subjective and objective data, recognize problems and contribute to the care plan.
• Implement parts of the plan under direction of a physician, AHP, or RN, within LVN scope.
