UF Health seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high level patient-centered care in a physician office setting. The role includes measuring vital signs, preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, and supporting patients throughout visits.

Responsibilities also cover administering medications, handling patient communications, and maintaining supplies. Occasional float to other UFHP practices may be required to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida.
• One year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred.
• Outstanding patient/customer service skills and communication required.
• Demonstrates initiative and the ability to multitask.

Responsabilités

• Measure and record vital signs.
• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare for exams/procedures.
• Assist health care provider with exams/procedures and during patient care.
• Administer medications as directed and process patient phone calls per protocols.
• Instruct patients regarding health care and treatments; provide health status information to the provider.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms; may float to other UFHP practices as needed.
