Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the ambulatory care team. The LPN will focus on patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes, performing duties within their training such as starting IVs and simple wound dressings.

Daily work is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Kentucky licensure is required, and the role is performed in an ambulatory setting on campus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Kentucky licensure.

Responsibilities

• Member of the ambulatory care team responsible for patient care, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Performs duties such as starting IVs, simple wound dressings and notifying the RN or LIP of changes or abnormalities.
