Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program required. Completion of a nursing program as approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding.
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required. Ability to successfully complete general and department role based specific skills validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory setting under supervision.
• Educate patients and reinforce care plans.
• Support physician and care team with patient care.
• Manage age-appropriate nursing care for all ages.
