Job summary

Sanford Health in Mandan, ND is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for our Walk In Clinic. This part-time position provides holistic patient care under supervision of a RN or provider, with autonomy as primary nurse within scope.

The role offers varied shifts, 24 weekly hours, and a benefits package; requires ND LPN license, possible IV therapy training, and willingness to work in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If IV therapy/management is required in North Dakota, complete Board-approved IV therapy coursework.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with state board or multistate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients
• Documents a thorough medical history from patient
• Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counseling patients and family, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans
