Albany Med Health System is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our Internal Medicine academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD) with 0.25 FTE allocated for educational leadership responsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a collaborative residency leadership team, integrating patient care with ambulatory medical education and scholarship.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Internal Medicine clinician-educator with focus on ambulatory education.
• Experience in learner development and teaching primary care.
• Commitment to resident and student education, continuity precepting and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Co-direct the ambulatory curriculum for the Internal Medicine residency.
• Direct patient care in ambulatory settings while supervising residents.
• Collaborate with medical students, physician assistants, and pharmacy students.
• Participate in the clinical competency committee and educational leadership duties.
