Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus invites an RN Ambulatory Infusion clinician to join the team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on infusion therapy and headache treatments in an ambulatory setting, with responsibilities including IV placement, ongoing patient monitoring, and prompt escalation of concerns.

You will collaborate with a dedicated care team while maintaining ACLS readiness. Candidate requirements include ADN or BSN, active RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN graduates from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) is required.
• One year of RN experience.
• LPN/MA or other unlicensed clinical experience may substitute if transferring within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory setting.
• Cancer certification or ongoing qualifying education is required for oncology-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion therapy and headache treatments in ambulatory setting.
• Assist with IV placement and monitor patients during infusions.
• Assess and document side effects; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain ACLS training and apply as needed.
• May float to other rooms to support operations.
• Provide professional nursing care and complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments; initiate CPR when needed.
• Notify physician of abnormal findings; assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
