Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation’s largest home infusion provider seeking an Infusion Nurse II – AIC to coordinate and deliver intermediate direct patient care in the Ambulatory Infusion Clinic.

You will work under supervision to ensure patient safety and adherence to physician plans of care. Responsibilities include developing and modifying care plans, conducting patient assessments, teaching patients and families, and ensuring timely clinical documentation and billing compliance.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Associate’s degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit and clarifies physician orders when needed.
• Provides effective and safe teaching to patients and families about prescribed therapy and care needs.
• Communicates with the clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care and timely documentation.
• Demonstrates compliance with agency policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
