Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Gastroenterology, Creve Coeur, is seeking a full-time Ambulatory Nurse to support outpatient care. This 40-hour-per-week day-shift role offers no call, weekends, or holidays and opportunities to work with a skilled care team.

The ambulatory RN provides direct patient care, collaborates with PCPs and specialists, supports documentation, and educates patients. A nursing degree and BLS are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education Nursing Diploma/Associate's- Nursing.
• 2-5 years of ambulatory nursing experience.
• RN with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PCPs and Specialists to develop and implement care plans.
• Assess patient needs using nursing skills and clinical judgement.
• Document patient assessment and treatment per protocols.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Maintain safety and comply with procedures in a clinic setting.
