GENERAL PURPOSE:Full time (40) Monday- Friday, Days
The Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager to oversee operations at a high-volume, outpatient endoscopy center affiliated with URMC. The candidate will be responsible for: supervision and development of Assistant Nurse Managers, clinical and clerical staff, operational oversight, staffing, problem solving, delivery of clinical care, maintaining standards of practice, assuring adherence to regulatory requirements, interpretation of policy and modeling of customer service skills. Nurse Manager will ensure efficient systems for patient safety, satisfaction and throughput, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Nurse Manager will work closely with the Assistance Director of Nursing and Medical Director to lead a dedicated team that values innovation, teamwork and professional development.
Qualifications: At least 5 years of nursing experience with 2 years of experience in a formal leadership role. Must have an active NYS RN license and a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred and required within 5 years). Experience in an outpatient procedural unit highly desirable.
