Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care across the patient care continuum, including direct patient care and family education. You will work within our Nursing Professional Practice Model to ensure quality care and smooth transitions for patients and families.

The role requires leadership, teamwork, and strong communication, with flexibility in hours including days/evenings/nights and on-call. Arizona BLS competency and current RN licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program and RN license.
• If RN program not accredited by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA, at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is required.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with an RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with an RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program as stipulated by the degree requirement program in place at time of hire.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of current LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support professional nursing practice across settings to meet patient and family needs.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
