UVA Health in Charlottesville is seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to deliver expert medication therapy management for patients with neurologic malignancies in ambulatory care settings.
You will collaborate with neuro-oncology physicians, infusion teams, and specialty pharmacy to optimize treatments, support advanced therapies, and drive safe transitions across care settings while educating learners and advancing professional development.
Deliver expert medication therapy management for patients with complex neurologic malignancies in an ambulatory setting.
Collaborate closely with neuro-oncology physicians, infusion center teams, and specialty pharmacy to optimize treatment outcomes.
Support advanced therapies including oral oncolytics, immunotherapies, and investigational agents.
Drive continuity of care across inpatient, outpatient, and infusion services—ensuring safe transitions and improved patient experience.
Enhance UVA prescription capture through proactive engagement with UVA specialty and retail pharmacy services.
Educate and mentor pharmacy learners and contribute to continuous professional development across the care team.

Education: Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy required.
Experience: No experience required. PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
Licensure: Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License or within 60 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: typing. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
