Job summary

Providence is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to assess patient medications, monitor safety and efficacy, and identify pharmaco-economic optimization opportunities within our care team.

You may administer medications, educate patients, and provide drug information while collaborating with Clinical Pharmacy leadership on quality initiatives.

Washington licensure is required; hospital setting in Spokane with strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
  • Washington Pharmacist License required on hire.
  • Residency completion and/or Board Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient medications and clinical data for safety, efficacy, and pharmaco-economics.

Description

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for assessing patient specific medications and clinical data in order to evaluate & monitor for safety, efficacy and pharmaco-economic optimization opportunities. In this role, the pharmacist may administer medications, monitors clinical data, educates patients, and provides general drug information to the healthcare team. This role works closely with the Clinical Pharmacy leadership thru various projects aimed at improving the quality of care and personal professional growth and development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy -OR- PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy

  • Washington Pharmacist License upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency and/or Board Certification or actively working toward Board Certification

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
