Reports To: Director of Clinical Services

Position Overview

A full-time Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Manager is needed to oversee clinical operations at a family medicine and outpatient services department in New London, NH. This leadership role is responsible for managing nursing and support staff—including RNs, LPNs, and CMAs—across ambulatory care practices. The position offers weekday, daytime hours with no weekend or on-call requirements, providing a strong work-life balance in a supportive healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Operations

• Supervise daily operations of clinical and support staff in the outpatient medical group
• Coordinate staff scheduling, time-off requests, and payroll in partnership with practice leadership
• Maintain clinical competencies and provide direct patient care as needed
• Serve as a super-user and resource for the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new clinical hires
• Ensure adherence to emergency preparedness procedures and clinical care standards
  
  

Leadership & Staff Development

• Collaborate with senior ambulatory leadership and nursing leadership to foster nursing development across the organization
• Support continuous education, training, and staff mentoring
• Deliver feedback and contribute to employee evaluations and performance improvement plans
• Cultivate a collaborative, patient-focused environment grounded in evidence-based care
