Inova Children's Multispecialty - Infusion in the DC area is seeking an Ambulatory Clinical Manager to lead a dedicated team. This full-time day-shift role (Mon-Fri) focuses on coordinating care, staffing, and program operations to support pediatric patients.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy staff, oversee hiring and training, monitor outcomes, and drive quality improvements. A BSN/MSW/MHA or related degree (or 4 years of relevant experience) and Virginia RN licensure

Qualifications

• BSN, MSW, MHA or related Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree).
• Virginia RN licensure required if BSN; other licenses may apply (Pharm D, LCSW) upon start.
• Three years of pediatric clinical experience; one year of direct supervisor/manager experience.

• Oversees assigned area to ensure it is performing effectively, including hiring/training, strategy development, performance management and task delegation.
• Anticipates patient/family needs and facilitates effective treatment plans.
• Ensures timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing, therapy and other members of the interdisciplinary team for patient management.
• Analyzes patient outcomes and program trends; participates in monthly reporting of trends and outcomes.
• Manages staff development and day-to-day department activities; participates in interviewing and hiring; provides feedback and recognition.

Ambulatory Clinical Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversees assigned area to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but not limited to, hiring and training team members, creating and implementing business strategies, managing performance of team members, and delegating tasks.
• Anticipates the needs of the patients or families and facilitates effective treatment plans.
• Ensures timely resolution of issues.
• Works collaboratively with physicians, nursing, therapy and other members of the interdisciplinary team to effect timely and appropriate patient management.
• Analyzes patient outcomes and program trends through an inter-disciplinary approach. Participates in monthly reporting of trends and outcomes that identify patient/client populations at program meetings and management operational meetings.
• Manages, supervises and facilitates the development of staff and oversees the day-to-day tasks/activities in the department. Participates in the interviewing/hiring process by reviewing job profiles, candidate applications and resumes, developing behavioral interview questions, conducting and evaluating interviews in a timely fashion and providing feedback/recommendation in hiring decision. Acknowledges and provides reward/recognition to staff and/or team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: BSN, MSW, MHA or related Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
• Licensure: If BSN, licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. If applicable for degree Pharm D (pharmacy), LCSW (Social Worker) upon start
• Experience: Three years of experience related to the clinical scope in pediatrics; One year of direct supervisor/manager/team lead experience
