Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids seeks a team member for a combined clinical and clerical role in the GYN Oncology HOPD. You will deliver quality patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider and provide essential clerical support to keep care moving smoothly.

This Full-time position operates on day shifts, 40 hours per week, with standard business hours and responsibilities across outpatient oncology services at Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, EHRs, and lab support is preferred.
• 2 years of clinical care experience is preferred.

About Outpatient Clinics

Scope of work

This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role. The team member delivers quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider; they also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience Preferred
• 2 years of clinical care experience Preferred
