Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to support ambulatory care, patient engagement, and self-management along the nursing process. You will ensure safe, high-quality care, while adhering to the State Nurse Practice Act and organizational mission.

The role requires an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing, a current RN license in the applicable state or NLC eligibility, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is required.
• Current state RN license; or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Ability to exert up to 50 lbs, up to 20 lbs, and up to 10 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Evaluate patient responses and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Perform clinical interventions including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and document accurately.
