Sanford Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Family Medicine Resident Clinic in Fargo, ND. The role supports ambulatory services with basic patient care under supervision, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, four to five days a week, with no weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, screening, preparing treatment areas, and maintaining supplies. ND-specific CNA considerations apply; BLS is required within 60 days.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience preferred in a clinic setting.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a CNA, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant in ND within four months from employment.

Aufgaben

• Perform basic patient care tasks such as measuring height, weight, blood pressure, vision screening, and drug screens.
• Prepare patient treatment areas and clean and maintain equipment and treatment rooms.
• Monitor stock levels of medical inventory and restock or reorder as needed.
• Work patient registries and identify opportunities to improve patient care.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a team amidst distractions.
