The Ambulatory Clinic LPN at Lawrence Watkins Health Services in Lawrence, KS, provides nursing care Monday through Friday 0900-1700 with weekend rotation (4-hour shift approximately every 6 weeks in fall/spring) and observed major holidays.

Responsibilities include recording patient history, taking vital signs, administering IM/SC/oral medications, coordinating tests and referrals, documenting in EMR, and patient education. Requires LPN license and BLS within 14 days.

Qualifications

• LPN graduation from an accredited program.
• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification within 14 days is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and prepare them for examination; record health history and vital signs.
• Administer IM, subcutaneous, and oral medications; monitor patient responses.
• Assist with supply prep and support the physician during treatment.
• Document chart entries accurately; manage referrals and pre-authorizations.
