Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Ambulatory Charge Nurse to champion nursing care standards and support the practice's needs while aligning policy and competency. You will oversee the clinical care team, precept new staff, and provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting.

Lead by example with accountability for safe, high-quality care, improve the patient and family experience, and help resolve operational and patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• License/Certifications: Current State License as a Registered Nurse; Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment
• Experience: 2 years of experience in the office/clinic or similar office/clinic
• Excellent customer service skills as demonstrated in past work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• License/Certifications: Current State License as a Registered Nurse; Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment
• Experience: 2 years of experience in the office/clinic or similar office/clinic

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• License/Certification: Certification in area of specialty ACLS; PALS
• Experience: Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems
• Excellent customer service skills as demonstrated in past work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
