Job summary

Riverside Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor Pool, Pre/Post and Ambulatory care at Williamsburg Healthcare Center in Williamsburg, VA. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, educating patients and families, and ensuring safe patient transitions while adhering to Riverside Health system standards

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Virginia (VDHP) required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS are required within specified timeframes.
• Experience in critical care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and plan care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families; document and communicate plans of care.
• Support patient transitions and ensure safe handoffs.
