Job summary

Indiana University Health in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Urgent Care team. The RN delivers high-quality patient care under on-site supervision, performing rapid triage, clinical assessments and coordinating treatments to ensure safe patient flow.

The role requires an active Indiana RN license (or NLC), ASN required with BSN preferred, and 1–2 years in ambulatory or urgent care settings.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS certification through the AHA.
• ASN degree; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• 2 years ambulatory experience preferred; 1 year ER/urgent care experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, provide and assist in evaluation of total patient care with providers.
• Coordinate multiple functions for a group of patients in a timely manner.
• Perform rapid triage, clinical assessments and support procedures to ensure safe patient flow.
• In clinic or telehealth settings, ensure orders are carried out accurately and timely.
