Job summary

Atrium Health General Surgery Albemarle is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our outpatient surgery team. The RN will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting in-office procedures.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in North Carolina, BLS certification, and about 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory care setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and assist with in-office procedures.
• Triage patient phone calls and uphold professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and the best patient experience.
