Job summary

Atrium Health General Surgery Albemarle is an outpatient practice serving adults 18+. We seek a dedicated RN to provide patient-centered care using evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate delivery in a busy ambulatory setting.

Required completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification. Preference for 1 year of RN experience; typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a strong team focus on excellence in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and advocate for patient needs.
• Assist with in-office procedures and triage patient phone calls.
• Uphold professional practice standards and evidence-based care.
