Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Outpatient Procedure Center in Memphis, TN. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Required: TN RN licensure and BCLS at hire; Graduate of an approved nursing program. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred and ability to work daytime shifts with no travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure to work in the state of TN (Upon Hire).
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients in the outpatient setting using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Initiates assessment based on patient needs, physician diagnosis and clinical guidelines.
• Collects key information from patient and medical reports, ensuring informed consent and proper ID procedures.
• Determines nursing diagnoses and priorities, including patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Documents assessments and nursing care in the patient record and uses appropriate clinical systems.
• Participates in emergencies and provides CPR/BLS as required.
• Educates patients and families about disease management and care plans.
• Coordinates with other staff to ensure safe and effective patient care in the outpatient center.
