Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree in nursing from an approved program.
• Must obtain/maintain Virginia RN licensure with eligibility or compact state.
• Completion of RN to BSN program required within five years of start date for those without a BSN.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, age-specific nursing care per medical orders and care plan.
• Administer prescribed medications with attention to interactions and incompatibilities.
• Organize, delegate, and supervise others on the unit as applicable.
• Provide education and leadership at the unit level.
