Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree from a nursing program recognized by the state's Board of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility; compact state considered.
• All RNs without a Bachelor's degree must enroll in an RN to BSN program within two years and complete within five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document direct, age-specific care based on medical orders and an integrated plan of care.
• Safely administer prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and interactions.
• Organize work, supervise others (RN’s, LPN’s, Care Partners, Unit Secretaries) and provide leadership at the unit level.
