Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in our Medical department in California.

The RN will work under Health Center Manager supervision to perform licensed nursing duties, operate medical and laboratory equipment, and assist in patient care, including physically demanding tasks. Qualified candidates will have a CA RN license, current CPR, and at least one year of ambulatory care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current RN license issued by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Minimum one year of recent experience in ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient population management with attention to cultural diversity and local resources.
• Prioritizes patient acuity and clinical flow, using Evidence Based Practice for disease management.
• Provides patient education directed by the care plan and coordinates with the care team to arrange services.
• Performs nursing assessments, vitals, medication administration, and supports triage per protocols.
• Maintains HIPAA and confidentiality; supports allergy to infection control and safety policies.
