Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice or multi-state RN license via eNLC.
• Must obtain permanent RN license within 180 days of WV graduation (per WV rules).
• Temporary permits are state-bound and not multi-state licenses.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; ASN or Diploma acceptable; BSN possible within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the ambulatory setting, based on the nursing process and scope of practice.
• Performs preliminary assessment through observation and chart review for follow-up planning.
• Evaluates complex patient care situations and facilitates appropriate intervention.
• Delivers education to patients and families; participates in orientation and training of new staff.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities and collaborates with the health care team.
