Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT seeks a Registered Nurse in an outpatient clinic setting to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The RN will obtain health histories, vital signs, and administer medications, while educating patients and families and documenting in EMR systems.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, current RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of clinic or acute care experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS or ACLS required.
• 1 year clinic or acute hospital nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care according to standards.
• Obtain consent, document health history and vitals.
• Provide patient care per guidelines and administer meds.
• Educate patients and families on health management.
• Document data in medical records and EMR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Participate in quality assurance and care improvements.
