Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking an Ambulatory RN 2 to deliver patient-centered ambulatory care in Cardiology. You will establish caring relationships, implement plans of care, and collaborate with the healthcare team across the care continuum.

The role requires a BSN or higher, active state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. The position offers a pay range of $37.50–$62.21 per hour and full-time scheduling.

Formación

• Current license and credentials by the state they are assigned.
• At least one year of nursing experience required.
• BSN or higher degree required for hires after Jan 1, 2014.
• ADN not eligible for transfer to RN3 after 10/22/2020 if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes a caring, therapeutic relationship with patients and families through effective communication and goal setting.
• Implements a plan of care considering cultural, spiritual, educational and psychosocial factors.
• Maintains professional relationships with the healthcare team and coordinates with other disciplines to meet patient needs.
• Utilizes resources to resolve conflicts and improve team relationships.
• Coordinates care using nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration across care continuum.
• Applies evidence-based ambulatory nursing interventions during clinical visits, calls, and electronic communications.
• Participates in quality initiatives and care protocols to improve patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates accountability for safe medication administration and device use.
