The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Community Based Practice Anesthesiologist to join our ambulatory team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.

Flex position between community hospital and ambulatory surgical center in the Worcester area with case mix including ortho, gen surg, urology, plastics and GI.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license.
• Be board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs in the anesthesia care team model.
• Educate residents in a fully integrated training program.
• Participate in education, medical simulation, QI work and research.
• Support a high-volume anesthesia service (≈60,000 cases annually).
