Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Community Based Practice Anesthesiologist to join our ambulatory team. The role emphasizes a balanced case mix and includes supervision of CRNAs within the anesthesia care team.

You will contribute to resident education and participate in education, simulation, QI work, and research as part of a robust training program.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license.
• Be board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in ambulatory settings including ortho, gen surg, urology, plastics, and GI.
• Supervise CRNAs within the anesthesia care team model.
• Educate residents in a fully integrated, outstanding training program.
• Manage home call with 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month.
• Engage in education, medical simulation, QI work and research.

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Group, seeks a Community Based Practice Anesthesiologists to join our ambulatory team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.

• Flex position between community hospital and ambulatory surgical center in the Worcester area
