Qualifications

• Must possess an M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• Candidates should be currently licensed physicians.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Manage medical care for patients undergoing surgery.
• Conduct patient pre-anesthesia assessments and discuss options.
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiological condition throughout procedures.
• Perform clinical interventions as necessary.

Skills

M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine

Current licensure as a physician

Completion of approved residency in anesthesia

ECFMC and FLEX certification
