Carilion Clinic's Allergy Practice ambulatory clinic is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, assessments, and care coordination across ages. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires Virginia RN licensure (or eligibility), BLS-HCP, and strong computer skills with EMR proficiency. Expect daily patient care, education, and participation in quality initiatives, with travel

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on assigned work area.
• Keyboarding skills and computer literacy including use of electronic medical records.
• Career Advancement Program (CAP) to attain various levels of advancement.

Responsabilités

• Provides individualized patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Completes and documents age-specific assessments to support development of care plans.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Administers treatments and medications accurately and documents care in EMR.
• Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs.
• Participates in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Advocates for patients and supports their rights and psychosocial needs.
• Applies knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.
