Qualifications

• Technical School graduate of an accredited Paramedic program with current state license/certification.
• 0–1 years of EMT-P experience.
• 1–2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks safely and competently per hospital standards.
• Coordinates patient care with RNs and interdisciplinary team.
• Notices changes in patient status and assists with interventions.
• Documents care accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Communicates clearly with patients and families.
• Administers medications according to the five rights with EMR verification.
• Maintains equipment readiness and supports patient throughput.
• Responds rapidly to emergencies with advanced life support.
• Complies with all policies, attendance, and standards.
