Job summary

The Vehicle/Station Technician at Chatham Emergency Services will ensure ambulances are washed, inspected, and stocked according to an inventory checklist. You will help maintain a mission-ready fleet and restock stations while coordinating with logistics teammates.

You must be able to lift heavy items, operate PPE safely, and pass pre-employment screenings. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an ambulance are required to support emergency response operations in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Lift, carry, and manipulate tools, supplies, and equipment safely.
• Wear PPE when decontaminating, cleaning, or inspecting.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to drive an ambulance in Georgia and comply with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Wash exterior of ambulances to present a professional image.
• Inspect fluid levels per the vehicle service manual.
• Check operation of lights, siren, heat/air, and tires; document issues.
• Account for, inspect, test, stock, and document assets on each ambulance.
• Stock medical supplies to par; organize cabinets and check expirations.
• Coordinate work with logistics team and report daily tasks.
• Unpack deliveries; rotate stock; report discrepancies.
• Submit all reports and documentation per policy; maintain a clean station and fleet using UV disinfectants.
