Job summary

H-E-B Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Austin, TX team. You will help ensure accurate prescription processing, excellent customer service, and efficient operations using RxEVO and related systems.

The role requires 3+ years of pharmacy experience, Texas CPhT, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in immunization scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with HIPAA and SOPs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active State of Texas registration as certified pharmacy technician (CPhT); maintain certification with 20 hours of continuing education every 2 years; recertify 60 days prior to expiration date.
• RxEVO certification.
• Experience with H-E-B SOPs and RxEVO/RxIMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and adhere to service standards (Greet, Ask & Thank).
• Process prescriptions using RxEVO, verify patient information, and handle third‑party adjudication.
• Coordinate screening events, flu shots, and immunization scheduling.
• Assist with recalls, stock returns, and DSD reconciliation; manage inventory and invoices.
• Maintain and calibrate automated prescription processing equipment; perform 7-point checks.
