Job summary

Tyson & Mendes is seeking an Associate Attorney for the Northern California region, with active California Bar licensure. The role offers exposure to true litigation, direct case responsibility, and opportunities to grow under experienced trial attorneys.

Based out of our Novato office, the team handles matters across Northern California and the Bay Area, with a flexible schedule that supports remote, hybrid, or onsite work.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license required.
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies and manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across experience levels.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and nurture client relationships.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team growth.
