Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney in California to join a national litigation team focused on insurance defense and trial advocacy. This role requires a CA bar license and 1–8 years of litigation experience, with opportunities for mentorship and advancement.

The position offers flexible office arrangements—office, home, or hybrid—along with a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active CA bar license.
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience including case strategy, depositions, and trial prep.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial.
• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
