Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking Ambassadors to warmly greet patients and visitors at the TMC Campus, provide directions, perform health screenings, and support a safe, welcoming environment across the campus. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and communicates clearly, with a High School Diploma and at least two years of customer service experience; bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Evening/night shifts run 9:30pm–6:00am.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Communications or related field.
• 2 years of customer service experience required; healthcare experience preferred; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and perform health screening.

• Maintain a professional, positive attitude while dealing with customers and peers and perform multiple tasks as screener, greeter, information desk, in a fast-paced environment.

Ambassadors provide clear guidance to help visitors navigate the campus, offer support upon arrival, and promote a safe, welcoming environment. They also listen to concerns, address issues, and work toward resolution, reinforcing MD Anderson's commitment to exceptional care and service.

Salary Range: $37,450.00 - $42,725.00 - $48,000.00

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Associate's Degree Communications or related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Required: 2 years Customer service experience responding to customer inquiries or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree can be substituted for required experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
