SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment seeks a Painter to apply coatings on surfaces, prepare areas, and maintain cleanliness. You will respond to guest needs, prepare surfaces, and apply coatings with brushes or rollers, while protecting surroundings.

The role requires physical ability, typical start time of 5:00 AM, and valid driver's license. Perks include health benefits, park tickets, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Shift starts 5:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed.
• Must have and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
• SeaWorld driver’s license eligibility required.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and expectations.
• Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, or plaster.
• Select premixed paints or mix pigments to match colors.
• Prepare surfaces using tools or chemical strippers as needed.
• Protect surfaces with drop cloths and masking while painting.
• Apply coatings with brushes or rollers and prime when needed.
• Assemble scaffolding or ladders for elevated tasks.
• Clean surfaces and perform shop duties as assigned.
• Work may include multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
