The brand is distributed internationally through high-end accounts including Nordstrom, Selfridges, Space NK, and Liberty as well as amenity partners that include 5* hotels, spas, and concept gyms.

Position Summary

(MALIN+GOETZ) is seeking a strategic and analytical ecommerce leader with a proven track record of scaling growth profitably on Amazon. The Amazon Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day interface between Amazon, the agency and internal teams. They will be responsible for the Amazon P&L, driving sales and merchandising strategies to build overall brand awareness, exceed sales plans, and achieve long-term growth and profitability. This role involves proactively managing the day-to-day operations of Amazon alongside the agency and will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve overall goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

P&L, Strategy + Forecasting

  • Manage full Amazon P&L and budgets to deliver net sales, contribution margin, and profitability targets, identifying opportunities to improve top-line growth and bottom-line performance.
  • Own total forecasting, including sales and demand plans, collaborating internally to ensure accurate scenarios, execution, and communication across all stakeholders. Manage weeks of cover, out-of-stocks, excess inventory, chargebacks/fees, aged inventory, and lost sales.
  • Explicit ownership of ROAS/TACoS, conversion, traffic, organic rank/share of search, Buy Box, inventory health, contribution margin, and other relevant platform KPIs, sharing strategies to maximize sales.

Advertising + Content

  • Own Ads strategy across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and (where applicable) DSP, along with promotions, site content optimization, and assortment plans.
  • Manage keyword strategy, SEO, browse taxonomy, PDP quality, ratings/reviews, variation strategy, and organic search visibility.
  • Manage and optimize content, including all PDP assets, landing pages, and videos. Establish an ongoing testing roadmap for content, creative, pricing, promotions, advertising, and assortment.

Platform Operations + Agency Management

  • Drive and animate the agency relationship day-to-day, setting the agenda, pace, and priorities rather than simply overseeing execution, with a focus on operational excellence, achieving sales goals and profit.
  • Actively challenge and hold agency partners accountable to KPIs and deliverables, pressure-testing recommendations, pushing back when strategy or execution falls short, and escalating and course-correcting quickly when performance lags.
  • Manage communication between platform, agency partner, and internal teams, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Manage all platform-related operations including inventory planning, listing and catalog management, account health, pricing and promotional strategy, and other relevant business operations.
  • Lead strategy and execution of new product launches and tentpole events (e.g., Prime Day, BFCM) through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting + Competitive Analysis

  • Own platform performance reporting and business analysis, monitoring sales, profitability, traffic, conversion, advertising efficiency, share of search, inventory health, and competitive performance; translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, assortment, share of search, content, reviews, and media activity, translating insights into action.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with Amazon is required.
  • Beauty/skincare/fragrance experience preferred.
  • Experience with Amazon 1P or 3P models preferred.
  • Hands-on experience managing TikTok Shop (content, affiliates, LIVE, and ads) required; experience with other marketplace platforms (e.g., Walmart, Target+) a plus.

Benefits
  • The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$120,000.
