Yeiroads Cargo Company LLC is seeking delivery drivers for shifts with daytime hours and potential for 2nd shift. Responsibilities include safely delivering packages, using GPS navigation, and maintaining excellent customer service across residential and business routes.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a 4-panel drug screen, and working in the United States. A flexible schedule and opportunities for bonuses are offered, with benefits for employees meeting eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver packages on time and safely.
• Drive vehicle and perform safety inspections.
• Follow local/state laws, regulations and company policies.
• Safely deliver to residential, school, and business locations.
• Engage professionally with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
• Use phone GPS and scanning tools for navigation and admin tasks.
• Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
• Assist team with daily routes and rescue calls when needed.

Job Description

Employment Benefits

• $22.50 per hr
• 10-hour shifts are typical (Overtime)
• 4 or 5-day workweek

• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local and state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Safely deliver packages to customers located in residential neighborhoods and schools
• Safely and cooperatively engage with coworkers, management and vendors/third parties
• Safely and professionally interact with customers and the general public while delivering packages to residential, retail, and business locations
• Carry out a series of instructions and handle company property without constant supervision
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE. It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver’s license.
